STAR HAS ALWAYS BEEN AN INCUBATOR for up-and-coming photographic
talent. Years ago, an intern in the Black Star library mysteriously
requested some time off and then disappeared.

WEEKS
LATER HE RETURNED WITH PHOTOS documenting the Presidential
elections in the Philippines. Impressed by his accomplishment
we started using him as a local stringer and eventually began
representing him.
SOON HE WAS COVERING the fall of the Berlin Wall and
The Gulf War for magazines like Time. That intern is now acclaimed
photojournalist Christopher Morris.
